Dance Classes
We are excited to partner with Virtues In Motion (VIM) Dance Studio to offer top-notch dance classes at the Y!
Virtues In Motion Dance Studio offers a wide variety of dance classes to help your dancer get started, to improve, or to continue advanced training for dancers seeking future professional opportunities.
VIM provides dance instruction within a virtuous environment in which individuals can learn and grow in the dance world. VIM offers training in a variety of styles to educate the well-rounded, versatile dancer. VIM Dance Studio brings energy and enthusiasm to each dancer at every level of commitment. Our goal is to create an environment based on discipline, dedication, and good morals that dancers can incorporate into their everyday lives.
Ballet/Jazz/Lyrical Combo (5-10 year olds)
This class will focus on learning proper ballet techniques, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Dancers will also be encouraged to explore the emphasis of the interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story through movement.
This class meets every Thursday from 4:15-5:00 pm. Class begins January 11.
The fee for this class is $50 monthly. The first $50 monthly fee is due at registration. The remaining $50 monthly fees will be scheduled to draft on the 1st of each month in February, March, April & May.

Jazz/Hip Hop Combo(5-10 year olds)
This class will focus on learning proper dance techniques, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Dancers will also be encouraged to step outside the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
This class meets every Thursday from 5:00-5:45 pm. Class begins January 11th.
The fee for this class is $50 monthly. The first $50 monthly fee is due at registration. The remaining $50 monthly fees will be scheduled to draft on the 1st of each month in February, March, April & May.

Mini Dance Combo (3-5 year olds) - Plano
Introduce your child to the wonderful world of dance with this ballet, jazz and lyrical beginners combo class.
This class meets every Tuesday from 10-10:30 am. Class begins January 9th.
The fee for this class is $50 monthly. The first $50 monthly fee is due at registration. The remaining $50 monthly fees will be scheduled to draft on the 1st of each month in February, March, April & May.
